Hi Made, you took us on a guided tour along the rice paddies, to the Pura Taman Ayun and to the wonderfull Danan Bratan temple along the lake, and to many other temples, explained us the complicated temple system, and in short, was an intelligent and very charming guide to both me and Iet. Later on, we met each other again, in Amed at Vienna Beach, where you picked up our Swiss friend, Martin, to whom we of course had you recommended as Bali's best guide. We keep the best remembrances of Bali, thanks to you!

Hi Made, I'm back in Tokyo and the cold, winter weather. It's a few degrees above zero in the day and a few below at night. A definite temperature change. I actually have the heater on right now.
Anyway, thanks again for taking me around Bali. I enjoyed seeing all the cultural and natural wonders and of course being able to surf again. I hope my short presence there also helped you financially as I know tourism is such an important part of the Balinese economy.

What a great way to start a vacation in Bali. As arranged, Made was waiting at the arrival area holding a sign with our name... did that ever feel special. He delivered us to our accommodation at Flashbacks in Sanur. The next day he drove us up to Ubud. He is a very friendly Balinese man who loves to meet and help people enjoy his passion... showing off Bali. Made has created a list of tours that will meet and exceed any preconceived ideas you may have had of Bali's sights and culture. He is extremely curitous and safe on the road and his vehicle was meticulously clean. It was a most favorable encounter and we hope he can help you enjoy Bali as much as we did. It was a year ago exactly that you picked Debbie and I up from the airport and took us to Flashbacks in Sanur to start off our lovely vacation. I hope you have been doing well, and maybe that you have gotten to Lombok. Debbie and I spent some time together today to celebrate Nyepi. We went out for Indonesian food to a restaurant near my home, and reminisced about all the fun we had in Bali. Thank you for helping to make our trip so wonderful (and for answering all of those questions I asked you!). I'm attaching a couple of the photos from our trip that I thought you might enjoy, from Mt. Batur, snorkeling, and Tanah Lot. I've also attached three pictures that show you the view of the Vancouver harbour from my apartment, which is the 'pomandangan' I came home to.

Dear Made, My “old life” is still back. When I come back from my holiday to Hamburg I couldn’t realise, that the nice time on the beautiful island Bali and in a warm climate is over – really too short! Thinking often about my casual choice to come to Bali and my beautiful days there…and I am at last very happy, to take these good choice. The days off were running too fast and the nice time on the beautiful island Bali was too short. I would say THANK YOU SO MUCH, that you show me the nice places on this island in this kind way and the tours prepare me a big pleasure!!! I heartly hope you and your family are fine and the year will end and start with a good business, kind and nice guests and a lot sun in the sky. I have used Made's services many times while visiting Bali. He is very reliable (even in the wee hours of the morning). His van is impeccably clean and his knowledge of Bali and English are outstanding. I would very much recommend Made to anyone needing transport in Bali.
